The Fall Pancake Breakfast was held Saturday, October 20th from 7 - 11a.m. at the Damascus United Methodist Church. On Friday, October 19th the Set-Up crew made ready the Dining Room. Saturday started at 5:30 a.m. with the preparations of the food - pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, chipped beef, biscuit, home fries, hot apples, orange juice, coffee and etc. The Bake Table received items to be sold. The Breakfast started at 7 a.m. continuing until 11 a.m. Then came clean-up. It was a long day for those who helped. Breakfast was served to 271. (137 purchased tickets at the door and 134 were sold ahead). We estimate that we will turn a profit of approximately $1,300. Not all bills have come in, and some Lions have not yet turned in their money.
